  • Late last year the American Lung Association posted a pro bono job on Voice123. My mother has Pulmonary Fibrosis - an incurable, progressive scarring of the lungs which has no known cure. 40,000 people die every year from PF - the same number as die from breast cancer - yet it's little known in the media. Little is known about causes and there is no cure. When the American lung association came to me to ask for a voice over, of course I said yes.

Would you wear blue every Friday - and post in your status that you're wearing blue to raise awareness of Pulmonary Fibrosis? We can be the beginning of a movement for research funding for a disease that has taken the lives of many people, including: Marlon Brando, James Doohan (star Trek's Scotty), Gordon Jump (WKRP), Robert Goulet, "Evel" Knievel, Peter Benchley (JAWS - Author), Bill Bright (Campus Crusade) and countless mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers.
