I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
Best to ya!

Ok, but I know you now! Yes, the 29.95 / month membership will expose you to plenty of audition opportunities so you can try it and hopefully find success. Re: your set up. Yes, you should be concerned because nothing but clean audio is sufficient as that's what producers will demand, i.e. no background noise from traffic, furnace, dogs, computer, etc. I'd be happy to critique a sample for you at no charge and let you know what I hear/don't hear. Just send an mp3 to bigvoiceproductions@gmail.com. Can do today.

Thanks for your invite to become friends and question. I have been a Voices.com member for over three years and receive plenty of auditions daily. After reasonably quick ROI in the first year, the success has dropped off but it's not for lack of trying as I audition approx. 5-10 x per week. Competition is tough for all of us but I just keep trying.
You're name looks familiar to me...how should I know you?

Thanks for watching my 'Microphone Techniques' video. I really appreciate your kind words.
Thank you for the message.
I have just signed up for a production course on a local community radio station and will be co-presenting a forthnightly show on the station too. I hope to be doing jingles and promos too.
This work will be unpaid but great experience.
How are things going for you?
Welcome to VU. How are the acting classes going? I have acted on stage but never had a moments tuition. Luckily I take direction easily and a good director will get what her or she wants (even if they have to beat it out of you... :-) ).
I also signed up to a couple of agencies for work as an extra. Only had one gig so far. it was unpaid but it was so much fun.
I am also working on my first demo. Finding a good voiceover coach is difficult in the UK and workshops and courses are far between but I am determined to succeed.
Good luck
William
You have great ears! Thanks for dropping by. I'm gald that you like the commercial.
