    Vida, have you worked with Mark Cashman or Nancy Wolfsen for commercials? I'm doing a VOWOL series this month but am looking for a class to take before the end of the year.

    I've noticed you post some pictures of you hosting a show or at an awards show? Congrats! Are you still doing that?

    I didn't return to his class either. I'm studying with Rick Walter's in Hollywood now. And hoping to do more VO work as well. Great panel last Thursday. Looking forward to this week as well.

    Hi Vida -
    I have a feeling a Farsi showreel could be mainly focused on narration since I belive most of the market is in information, like when someone comes new to a country, for helping in communication between the troops and civilians and similar applications. I was dating a lady from Iran some years ago and got the impression there is little or no market for commercial radio or TV ads there. But of course there is a lagre community of Iran exiles around the world, very ambitious and determined people.

    Maybe we talked about MicPort Pro, I think it's the best alternative for portable mic (or rather: portable studio). MicPortPro you can plug any mike you like into USB on your computer. It is in fact a usb sound card complete with 48V, XLR contact, headphones outlet and 24/96 -bit recording. And it is very small, just about the size of a cigar (or maybe...:-)
    Absolutely one of the best little VO tools ever if you ask me.
