I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
As a kid I would spend hours watching Saturday morning cartoons and then immitate the voices. As I grew older I still would do immitations of old movie stars, "Cary Grant, James Cagney, Jimmy Stewart etc." This followed me through High School where I was a class clown which helped me during drama club, One-Act Plays, UIL Prose Reading, Choir Musicals etc. Started working as a DJ at 18 and worked full time and parttime with various formats from 1976-1995. Did hundreds of radio commercials doing both copy writing and production. in 1997 won a regional ADDY award for .30 sec commercial for an apartment complex. Did a couple of TV commercials for local chiropractors office and a local gym. Walk away from broadcasting in 1998 and in September 2011 decided I would like to get involved in the voiceover world. I have participated in voiceover workshops with Pat Fraley, David Goldberg, Bettye Zoller and in Los Angeles with Disney Casting Director Sara Goldberg through Such A Voice. Haven't narrowed down which genre I would be best at yet but I love doing character voices and like everyone else in VO would love to do animation.
