"Corey,
I would be honored if you would take a listen to my demo and give me your feedback. Although I have alot of years in the Radio biz and have voiced a ton of commercials, I feel like I'm brand new in this VO biz.

"I think your demo needs to have MORE of You and LESS of everything else. Your demo is tight, good luck in the radio biz!"

  • HI Steve, I'd be glad to give you some tips about your demos. I offer a super deal regarding demo eval if you take one of my classes too, but this is NOT a come on to sell you anything. Demos can be such a tough sell because no one can put everything on every demo and keep it a minute and a half max.
So first by categorizing into separate types of demos, like commercials, characters, impersonations, accents or dialects, promos etc that's a start. What my class teaches are the accents, dialects, character and voice types that are asked for....and I've been casting and doing voices for decade so I've seen the patterns.
Enough for now. I have to get back to my class materials. I have a compilation of some male characters I could send you. Email me at lani@audiogodz.com

  • Hi Steve,

I wish you the best of success in all your adventures! I'd love you to join my group Ask a Casting Director. There's a lot of useful info that might help you there.

I'm a Casting Director and experienced actor (4 octave range) for Video Games and more. It's a unique genre, unlike any other that requires a lot of differentiation in voices because there are so many parts with so few lines each. It requires a huge vocal repertoire. If you feel you're experienced as a voice actor with a lot of diverse and useable characters, and you can hit the ground running, you can go to my Talent Assessment page. Classes and coaching links are also there, if you'd like more instant help to get where you need to be to land those jobs.

    Stay Super!
