I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Studio Engineer
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I began my voice over career around 1993 in Nashville,Tennessee. Not taking it too seriously at first while busy trying to make it big in the music biz and running my own commercial photography studio. While singing demos in Nashville studios, I was asked to voice a few projects. “You mean just talk?”, I asked. I was starting to find out then that my spoken word was more “unique” than my singing voice. Learning a whole new form of expression, I refined my craft through acting workshops, local theatre performances and on-camera work.
As time went by and frustration grew with the music business, I found myself voicing radio/TV ads, music promotions, audio books and corporate videos. Establishing my
warm and rugged, storytelling AMERICANA signature sound. My voice, face and physical presence match up perfectly and lead me to pursue on-camera work as well.
I’ve become a leading voice for the industries of construction and manufacturing, agriculture and equine, outdoor sports and travel, community banking, finance and insurance. As well as a colorful voice for film, television, museum and corporate documentary. My combined background of music, acting and photography have shaped me into a seasoned voice over artist with a great “ear” for audio and an imaginative “eye” for the visual... your best choice for TV, film and video.

I received your message regarding Website Editing software and I was not sure how to respond. I use both Mac and Windows as well as a slew of other operating systems. I tend to get down and dirty and just open the code in an editor like vi or TextPad and make the changes from there. However, I am currently learning to use Adobe Dreamweaver and find it to be very easy to use. From my understanding there is a Mac and PC version.
Good luck,
Jon
I saw your post on website editing and softwae. I have a MacBook and I used iWeb to build my site and a neat little program called "Fetch" to upload it to my site. Fetch is free for a month or so, then it's $25-$30 bucks to own it. I say it's well worth the money. Feel free to email if you need more info.
