I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Voiceover Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
America’s most recognizable female voice announcer, Randy Thomas has been winning accolades and opening doors for female voice artists for nearly 15 years. With over 20 years of experience as a radio personality in Detroit, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, Randy has gone on to achieve her dreams as a voice-over artist, writer, and now producer.
She was the first woman to announce the Academy Awards, the Miss America Pageant, the Tony Awards, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and, in 2004, became the first woman to announce the National Democratic Convention in Boston, Massachusetts. She has announced the Oscars seven times and is the first person ever to announce The Oscars, The Tonys, and The Emmys all in the same year.
Randy is currently the voice of CBS Television Distribution's “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider,” as well as the voice for Clear Channel radio stations across the country, including WASH FM Washington, DC. She is well known as the voice of Hooked on Phonics, memorably intoning the line “Call 1-800-ABC-DEFG.”
Also, Randy recently co-authored a book entitled, “Voice for Hire: Launch and Maintain a Lucrative Career in Voice-Overs” with her friend and voice over talent, Peter Rofé. The book is in bookstores now! To get on Randy and Peter Rofe's book tour and workshop mailing list please register at http://www.VoiceForHireBook.net.

Work, family and a new puppy have been keeping me crazy busy! "Thanks G-d" as my Grandmother would say!
Wishing you many gigs and may the voice always be with you! Make sure to stay alkaline to avoid all the nasty sickness that is going around. When in doubt even a tall glass of water with a lemon squueezed into it will help your belly stay alkaline!
break a lip!

We could use your marketing insight!!!
I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
Best to ya!

Hope all is well.Thought I`d start a group representing West Coast Fl.Please join West Coast Florida VO..We can have some fun with it and get some useful info on it. Thanks so much....Chuck Drake ( It`s on my page)
First of all, thank you for adding me to the great list of friends!
Second, I really need a coach...as I listen to MY demos...then listen to someone elses who's been trained....and it's obvious.....Loren needs training. can we talk more about this? maybe we can talk on skype or some other program.Depending on pricing this may be too soon for me to look into as work as been very slim for us tower climbers. I guess I'm looking for what the ranges are for coaching fees. I am hungry for the top....and won't ever quit trying!
Thank you for your valuable time.
