I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Upon graduation from High School, I joined the U.S. Navy. I received extensive training in Coronado California before shipping out for my first of two tours in SE Asia.
After being honorably discharged, I accrued in excess of 2500 classroom hours in Law Enforcement / Criminal Justice (over the course of 27 years), studying at both the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Wyoming.
I received comprehensive training in public relations, which led to work at various radio and television stations as the "Public Relations" Officer. Discovering a 'knack' for copywriting, I was soon tasked with creating the material for various public awareness and safety campaigns, and was also blessed with writing a weekly Op/Ed column for several newspapers.
I have been advised by and study Bettye Zoller Seitz (She ROCKS) and have studied under Pat Fraley. My daily education incorporates the "Sponge" technique. I follow, with unshakable tenacity, those greats who offer to rub elbows with rabble such as I on this and other websites (including their own), and 'absorb' every nugget they throw my way. I read what they have to say .... and listen to how they say it.
I've worked part time over the years at several small radio stations, voicing commercials and promos. I decided just recently to pursue voice over work full time. I am also a freelance writer, having achieved publication in both periodicals and a short story anthology.
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
I recently completed two audio books. The first, "Redeemed Israel, Reunited and Restored," for Key of David Publishing and the second, "Victory" for JimCin Recording. The latter is now available on Audible.com. I'm in negotiation for a second book with Key of David titled, "Return to the Land," by Ephraim Frank.
I am also recording and producing a collection of classic short stories that I hope to release this Fall.

I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!

So great to finally hear from you. I was getting worried (it's just something I
do when friends are concerned) :-)
I was about to send you a private message and realized you aren't on my friends list! Well, that's just WRONG. So I have requested you be my friend. I'd like to talk to you about an agent I have that would probably be interested in hearing your stuff, so as soon as you accept my friendship, I'll write with that information.
Big hugs,
Penny
I haven't heard from you for so long - everything okay there in Florida?
I came across a podcast series recently and some of the stories reminded me so much of you. You might check it out - they are available through iTunes or at http://www.themoth.org/. I KNOW you'd love them! I can't get enough of them!
Take care - drop me a line so I'll know you doing okay - will ya?
Hugs,
Penny
