I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Born in Patna, India, raised in Nottingham, England, I started out in voice work as a BBC radio actor/impressionist in the mid '90s. I became a web-based voice actor in 2006, since when I have worked in a wide variety of voice categories. I had a Number One ringtone in last year's UK charts. As well as voice work, I love languages and am also a sports broadcaster in my spare time at Nottingham Hospitals' Radio.

VOICE DESCRIPTION
I was going to say...
"An elastic bundle of creative energy, bouncing across oceans and attitudes: from gentle caress to controlled explosion - and many shades in between"...
...but these darn 'modesty' and 'humility' genes they injected keep tightening around my trumpet, so all I can safely come out with is:
Versatile

Most UK regions, many US, plus a variety of international accents and dialects

I'm so glad to have had the chance to meet you in person at VOICE.
Be well,
Bob
Actually, I'm still in the 'digest-all-the-memories-people-faces-voices-education' phase, but there's plenty of time to figure it all out...
Either way, it was wonderful to just get so many of us recluses together in one place, wasn't it!? As you said, it was comforting to hear some of the big names empathize with the isolation our job can bring at times. Now we know, we are not alone!
Take care, Lori - and be sure to keep in touch.
Here's to many more BIG ONES!
Rajiv
PS. Loads more pics at places like VO-BB - try this one:

Great meeting you face-to-face at VOICE. I just returned home after short vacation after the conference. Brad's pictures looked great, it made me wish I had taken some!
Anyway, I got the National TV spot job I was after, so it looks like I can learn a few things after all :) Wishing you continued success as well!!
Keep in touch!
Lori
Great to hear from you! How exciting that you were able to attend VOICE 2008. From the photo's and comments posted by those who attend it sounded like a great time! I hope to go to next years conference.
There is a new birthday thread on voice-overs.com forum. I still have you on my spread sheet! :-) Hope to see you over there as well, many of our old friends are there.
Best regards,

I'll let you know what I figure out as far as being able to "cab it" in LA. I think I might end up renting a car for a day or two. We'll see...
Can't wait to meet you in person!! Caryn
