I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Studio Engineer, Creative Director, Voiceover Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have been working as a voice actor and coach for 16+ years in San Diego, CA. My partner, James R. Alburger, and I own VoiceActing.com and The VoiceActing Academy. I am the author of Demo & Marketing Magic for Voice Actors and I am the co-Executive Producer of VOICE, (The VoiceOver International Creative Experience) which is the only convention specifically designed for voice actors.
I am also the VERY proud grandma to three beautiful little girls and one little boy - all under the age of 6. They keep me running, but being a grandma ROCKS! See their pictures below in the slide show! I'm just a "little" proud of them!

Penny thank you for the invite, I'm kinda new to voiceovers even though I have been in the music business 30 years. I have done some voiceover work, and this looks like a great place to find training as well as friends doing the same thing.
Thanks Tony Ray
Hello Penny,
Thank you for the thoughtful and much appreciated birthday wish! I already received a lovely Blue Snowball for my birthday from a good friend of mine. I cannot wait to try it out!
Kindest Regards & a Hug,
Vanessa
Penny! Thank you so VERY much for my birthday card! That was so very kind of you, you have made my day!
All the best,
Jay
Hi Penny,
Thanks so much for the warm welcome to VU - I'm really glad I came across this place! What a great forum for people who do what we do.
I've had a chance to hear you along with James on a webcast or two, and I'm a big fan. Actually I bought a first edition of "The Art of Voice Acting" back in '99, and - I swear this is true - my very next audition after reading the book was a high 4 figure job, and I nailed it! I've always wanted to thank Mr. A for the insights, so please pass along my gratitude!
I'm looking forward to joining Positive Thinkers Unite...no doubt we can all use more moral support and advice from our fellow v/o peeps these days. BTW, I'll also be posting my demos soon, and I'd love any feedback you could provide if you ever have a minute!
Thanks again Penny, and I look forward to getting to know you and many other great talents and teachers soon!
Warmest Wishes,
Pete
Penny,
This is the perfect place for me to start. Thanks for the note. Love your page. Clever! Glad to read your story. Warmest regards, the other Penny
Penny,
You and Jim do an outstanding job educating Conductor's club members about everything having to do with voice acting. Thanks for the help! It is greatly appreciated.
Gratefully yours,
