I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Studio Engineer, Creative Director, Voiceover Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have been working as a voice actor and coach for 16+ years in San Diego, CA. My partner, James R. Alburger, and I own VoiceActing.com and The VoiceActing Academy. I am the author of Demo & Marketing Magic for Voice Actors and I am the co-Executive Producer of VOICE, (The VoiceOver International Creative Experience) which is the only convention specifically designed for voice actors.
I am also the VERY proud grandma to three beautiful little girls and one little boy - all under the age of 6. They keep me running, but being a grandma ROCKS! See their pictures below in the slide show! I'm just a "little" proud of them!

Thanks Penny -
I am a working actor in the Bay Area. Unless producer types are available to your talent - I'm not interested in speaking with other voice talent.
I appreciate your response.

Hi Penny,
Does VU offer talent a place to audition? It seems like a gathering of social opportunities. I am a commercial voice actor in the SF Bay Area looking for additional opportunity. Are they here?
Thank you - Greg Weber
Thank you so much for reaching out to welcome me into your network. I have to admit I am seeking as much feedback as I can get when it comes to getting involved with all facets of producing any kind of voice projects. I have a Blue snowball Mic, all my recording and editing equipment is through AVS software on my home PC. I can convert to eight different formats I have all the mixing capabilities as well. Anyway I am slowly making progress working with the tools of the craft it is fun and I am learning something new every time I use it. By the way, I am have listed myself with Voice 123.
I look forward to learning as much as I can
Today I am adding another wall to my sound area as well as a USB extension, the round cloth barrier I see all the pros use directly in front of their mics oh and good headphones for playback because using them, I can just hear better. Does this make sense?
Thanks again Ray
Hi Penny!!!!! Thanks for the warm welcome.....just getting back in after five years of raising my son alone....in that "paying dues" phase!!! YAY!!! Oh, and I lived in San Diego for seven years while in Marine Corps!!!! LOVED IT
