I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Studio Engineer, Creative Director, Voiceover Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have been working as a voice actor and coach for 16+ years in San Diego, CA. My partner, James R. Alburger, and I own VoiceActing.com and The VoiceActing Academy. I am the author of Demo & Marketing Magic for Voice Actors and I am the co-Executive Producer of VOICE, (The VoiceOver International Creative Experience) which is the only convention specifically designed for voice actors.
I am also the VERY proud grandma to three beautiful little girls and one little boy - all under the age of 6. They keep me running, but being a grandma ROCKS! See their pictures below in the slide show! I'm just a "little" proud of them!

Thanks for your B/day card a wishes. 'twas very kind of you.
BTW, I got a call from my old friend 'Lofty' a few days back and he said he'll be catching-up with you soon over there in the States. We're trying to see each other before he leaves, but if we don't, give him my best.
I hope to one day have the pleasure of meeting you in person.
Kindest regards
Gazza :-)
This website, particularly the forums, is a tremendous resource. Although I have no background in V.O. (yet), a friend at a major studio here in L.A. has offered to make some introductions here and there, so I'm absorbing as much as I can about this fascinating world of talent!
In the last week or so I've spent countless hours reading various V.O. discussion forums online, checked out some good books at the library, including You Can Bank on you Voice by Rodney Saulsberry, which is a fantastic read, and listening to and watching various top dogs in the biz (Beau, Joe Cipriano, Jeff McNeal, to name a few) on their respective websites.
I've managed to borrow some decent gear to practice on, and will certainly invest in my own gear as the needs dictate.
I look forward to the next step, and again thanks so muc for the welcome! (I'm checking out your website as I type this!)
All the best,
Pete
