I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Studio Engineer, Creative Director, Voiceover Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have been working as a voice actor and coach for 16+ years in San Diego, CA. My partner, James R. Alburger, and I own VoiceActing.com and The VoiceActing Academy. I am the author of Demo & Marketing Magic for Voice Actors and I am the co-Executive Producer of VOICE, (The VoiceOver International Creative Experience) which is the only convention specifically designed for voice actors.
I am also the VERY proud grandma to three beautiful little girls and one little boy - all under the age of 6. They keep me running, but being a grandma ROCKS! See their pictures below in the slide show! I'm just a "little" proud of them!

Thanks for the early greetings. You've made my day! Happy 40th Anniversary!!! That's awesome. Have a wonderful get-away. I hope every minute of it fills your hearts with loving memories.
Much love to you,
Connie
Thank you for your thoughtful message. I, too, am enjoying this time working with you and Jim. I admire and appreciate your and Jim's talent and skill, and your teaching ability and patience. You have already imparted much more to me than may be yet apparent. More later...now I'm trying to get ready for production day with you!
Respectfully,
Gil

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! I can honestly say I needed it. I was recently caught up in the Clear Channel corporate downsizing and have found myself without full time work for the first time in my life. I am seriously taking a shot at voice work on my own after voicing thousands of commercials in radio. But as they say "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." I ready now.
Thanks for the invite to join all the positive thinkers out there! I have spoken to many Church and civic groups on the benefits of Positive Living...Now it's time to once again switch from the role of teacher to student. Please check out my blog post. It's a bit of a read...but worth it!
God Bless.
Charlie
Thank you very much for checking in and up on me. Yes the last few months have been very good! My business is blooming right before my very eyes but still have yet to get any attention from the agents you suggested I send to.
Sure would be nice to have someone else bring some work to the table but good things come to those with patience right?
Im making plans to get out to LA for some vocal coaching this summer. I plan to spend about a week getting in with as many as I can so I can figure out who can help me the most.
Any suggestions?
Thank you very much!
I have been a reader of James' "Art of Voice Acting" for a few years, and right now, I'm trying to really get my career going. I have been voicing since 2003, but it's time to "put up or shut up."
I appreciate the kind words!
