I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Studio Engineer, Creative Director, Voiceover Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have been working as a voice actor and coach for 16+ years in San Diego, CA. My partner, James R. Alburger, and I own VoiceActing.com and The VoiceActing Academy. I am the author of Demo & Marketing Magic for Voice Actors and I am the co-Executive Producer of VOICE, (The VoiceOver International Creative Experience) which is the only convention specifically designed for voice actors.
I am also the VERY proud grandma to three beautiful little girls and one little boy - all under the age of 6. They keep me running, but being a grandma ROCKS! See their pictures below in the slide show! I'm just a "little" proud of them!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome to VU!!!
Very professional & user friendly site. Thanks for welcoming me on board...I'm very glad that it was recommended to me. Primarily it's loaded with the kind of inside information that I've been loking for. Basically, I'm a 35 year Major Market Radio vet, semi-retired and after hearing from so many of my contemporaries that I should strike out on my own, I finally took their advice. My home studio has been up for almost 2 years & while I've done well with several agencies I notice that the "Talent Pool" just keeps getting deeper & I'm always looking for a way to seperate myself from the pack. I truly believe that all of the features & networking on VU will help me accomplish my goal. We'll be in touch. Be good to yourself & Best of Luck. Sincerely Chuck Britton
Thanks a lot! I have James Alburger's book and I love it. I have read many others, but I think his is the best overall. I usually take the cd with me when I am going to auditions and listen to it in the car as I practice tongue twisters in the car. I also have my wine cork in my mouth when I am driving too!
I've been looking for voice classes and seminars in the NC area, or in the southeast. Not too many of those around here. Usually location is a problem and of course price.
Thanks again,
William
All best,
