I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Studio Engineer, Creative Director, Voiceover Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have been working as a voice actor and coach for 16+ years in San Diego, CA. My partner, James R. Alburger, and I own VoiceActing.com and The VoiceActing Academy. I am the author of Demo & Marketing Magic for Voice Actors and I am the co-Executive Producer of VOICE, (The VoiceOver International Creative Experience) which is the only convention specifically designed for voice actors.
I am also the VERY proud grandma to three beautiful little girls and one little boy - all under the age of 6. They keep me running, but being a grandma ROCKS! See their pictures below in the slide show! I'm just a "little" proud of them!

thank you so much for welcome. I certainly continue looking around. This is a fantastic site! =)
Thanks for your warm welcome and your kind words.
I'll check out your recommendations.
Best regards,

Before you do the maths, I'm 43 and started VO exactly 4 years ago, since when I've been blessed with a range of work from company promos to voicing a charcter (in Turkish!) on a network TV drama.
Actually I'm British, and also teach English to students about to start their university course. It's great to know that their success in mastering a new language will change their life in so many positive ways. Wow! the power of communication!
What's exciting here is that I've just set up a home studio, and William (that's my son) has already shown great interest in getting up to the mic. My wife Aysegül hopes to join us very soon, too. She's enjoying a "seslendirme" (VO) course right now, so keep an ear out for her demos if you need a Turkish voice!
As yours was one of the first "voiceover names" I heard after starting out (of course from James Alburger's book, The Art of Voice Acting) it's great that you're one of the first to comment on my VU page.
Isn't it great that we can (1) share our news and experiences with others in the vo profession, and (2) do this internationally? I'm based in Istanbul, Turkey, and so have felt a little cut off as a VO artist. I plan to make that change, and isn't this a great way of connecting and doing just that?
Be well, take care, have fun.

It's wonderful to meet you!
I am not sure there is a more supportive and positive professional group than that of the voice over community! I am so happy to be a part of this business and thrilled to now be a member of VU.
