I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Studio Engineer, Creative Director, Voiceover Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have been working as a voice actor and coach for 16+ years in San Diego, CA. My partner, James R. Alburger, and I own VoiceActing.com and The VoiceActing Academy. I am the author of Demo & Marketing Magic for Voice Actors and I am the co-Executive Producer of VOICE, (The VoiceOver International Creative Experience) which is the only convention specifically designed for voice actors.

I love your story! I thought I was a 'late bloomer' as well. I have two teenagers and have been finally getting serious about my VO career at 45. Funny story, I decided to go back to college at 36. After the first day I received a call from the local radio statio (Small market) where I dropped off a demo. I was offerd a job in traffic/copywriter, so I returned my books and went to work in radio, and never looked back since! I quickly jumped to production and voicing. I have now finally taken some great classes with Deb Munro and Pat Frahley and look forward to carving out my 'niche' in the industry. Thanks so much for your inspiring story. I hope one day to come down south and take one of your classes. I know Deb is probably tuned in to what your are offering.
Kindest regards, Brent Halfyard
Will check out the group.
Ciao

Hey, I got a question for ya.
I client recently hired me to record her autobiography that will be published this March. It consists of about 200 pages, and I would be putting about 2-3 hours a day into the project. I am trying to come up with a price quote for her. Could you help me out with that, please?
Thanks so much for taking the time to review my demo on you Demo Derby!!! I appreciate you guys alot! - Stu
