HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE

I have been working as a voice actor and coach for 16+ years in San Diego, CA. My partner, James R. Alburger, and I own VoiceActing.com and The VoiceActing Academy. I am the author of Demo & Marketing Magic for Voice Actors and I am the co-Executive Producer of VOICE, (The VoiceOver International Creative Experience) which is the only convention specifically designed for voice actors. I am also the VERY proud grandma to three beautiful little girls and one little boy - all under the age of 6. They keep me running, but being a grandma ROCKS! RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS

I've been doing a fair amount of VO work, but starting most of my time recently has been devoted to producing VOICE 2014 which will be held august 27-30th the Anaheim Hilton in the Disneyland Village -in Anaheim, CA. It will be the 5th conference for all voice actors and those who work in the industry - focusing on Education, Technology & Community. There will be 3 full days of learning and making new VO friends! Yes, I know about Voice 2008. But I think I'll wait until I've had my training session (which isn't cheap) and bought my equipment
(which isn't cheap either). Maybe if you have another in 2009 I will have made enough to be able to afford it. Sounds great though.

As much as I loved Voice International 2007, I won't be able to come to VI 2008. My website won't be ready, so I won't be able to do much networking. I also went back to the Wizard Academy...talk about a new addiction$$$! But at least I learned more about the wonderful art of writing for Radio and Internet!

Hope it rocks as much as last year though!

Sorry I didn't get back to you. I've been working like a dog! I voiced the Arqiva UK Commercial Radio Awards yesterday and they decided to put me ON STAGE and in vision, which I normally only do if I'm hosting. I was very nervous as it was an awards for all my peers, but it rocked! Exhausted now though.

I'd love to be on your roster, I hope I can add something to your already brilliant list of talent. Which email address would you like me send send the demos to?

my husband is the mastermind behind the smiley. he rigged it so it pops up 4 me. i haven't a clue how 2 do fancy things like that. hahahahah!! and when he tries 2 explain it 2 me, i swear he's speaking russian! :o)
