I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I'm a British voiceover artist who has been based in Houston, Texas since 2001.
Born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England my native accent is what's known as 'Geordie' but I have mastered the 'generic' English accent along with various others, such as Yorkshire, London (southern England), west country, Welsh, Irish and Scottish as well as French, German and various other European accents.
I do believe that professionals in all industries need to continually train to perfect new techniques and learn about new technologies to improve their skills and performance. The voiceover industry is no exception and I strive to continue taking voiceover workshops and classes with expert coaches, I register for register for training webinars regularly and learn something new every week.
My experience and wide-ranging repertoire includes audiobooks, Real Estate, retail and corporate narrations and everything in-between from voicemail to videogame characters.
I also continue to volunteer my services narrating audiobooks and short stories for Turning Sight Into Sound Radio Houston (a.k.a. Houston Taping for the Blind). They have me narrating mystery and suspense stories, airing every Saturday and Monday nights at 10pm (central time) at http://tapingfortheblind.org .
I have my own recording studio in Houston and produce an array of file types depending on client preferences including MP3 stereo quality, aiff and .wav files.

It was the best birthday I could have wished for! Oh and my son has sneakily brought a big birthday hat with candles on it and he insisted I wear it during breakfast. Hundreds of children then sang happy birthday to me....WOW! how good was that?
1700 kids are taking part in this festival and the talent out there is phenominal. I'm sure I've been watching some of our stars of future today.
Gotta go. Dinner awaits.
Thanks again everyone. Your love and good wished are very appreciated!!
Hugs back to you from me!
