I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
(from bio) Starting as an actor in New York, Paul Pape got his break when he was cast to co-star in "Saturday Night Fever". With nearly 6000 voice-over credits alone in his 34 year career, Paul has been heard in almost every form of media; including commercials, narrations, promos & trailers, animated features, television series, feature films, movies of the week and video games. He is considered one of the leading voices in the ADR field (Automated Dialogue Replacement), having worked on over 120 television series and many of the biggest blockbuster movies of recent years. Video game powerhouse Electronic Arts gave Paul an award for both his voice-over and on-camera performance in "Black", a #1 video game that has sold over two million copies in the U.S. and Britain. Other recent credits include promos for President Obama and the Democratic National Committee, the Starz Channel, Fox Sports Network and HBO, as well as narrations for industrial clients such as Raytheon and the Boeing Corporation. Paul was honored to narrate a video for the Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards when they presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to his best friend, the late Don LaFontaine, at the Kodak Theater. In addition to doing voice-over work, Paul serves on the Board of Directors of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation. Having conceived the idea to build the Don LaFontaine Voice-over Lab, he was joined in the effort by fellow co-founders Joe Cipriano and George Whittam. Located at the Foundation's Actors Center in Los Angeles, the Lab opened in June of 2010.

I just wanted to say my thoughts and prayers are with you and Don's family during this incredibly difficult time.
Lofty.
May God surround His angels around you and lift you during this difficult time. May the precious memories of yesterday become your strength needed today to get you through the many tomorrows. With heartfelt sorrow, I extend my condolences. You are in my prayers.

I'm sure I speak for many in this biz when I say that even though we don't know you personally, we are deeply saddened, and care immensely about your loss.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Not many times in our lives do we have a friendship with someone that we can see them as, and call them family. You had that relationship with Don. While we are all are praying for his family, I do believe no matter what you are feeling the loss also. And for that, I truly feel for you. Stay strong, and always remember the good times that you had with him. Grieving is different for many I know, but still, my prayers are with you that you may be strong during this time.

Thank you for, so elequently, including us all in, in such a time of loss.
Don took the time to listen to my demos and respond to my general post when he had NO idea who I was. My thoughts and prayers are with you as I know what it's like to loose your best friend, "brother". Blessings to you as well as Don's family.
Sorry for your loss of your brother from an other mother. I have had two friends like this in my life it is hard when you lose one. I thought of Don like an Uncle I never met, heard a lot about and heard lot of, I look at him as a role model thank you for being who you are to him and to his family.
