I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have been doing voices all my life...
When I was 15, my mom saw an ad for a voice over class taught by Bob Bergen. She signed me up and drove me every week. I continued studying voice over with anyone who would teach me and after graduating college with a BFA in Theater, I made my demo. In 1998, I moved to New York, "freelanced" with Abrams Artists NY and booked successfully in the commercial VO world. I met the love of my life, left NY and moved back to LA a year later. I have been with a few agents over my 10 years working in this business, but have found my stride with Abrams Artists LA/NY. I regularly book commercially and have just started making a name for myself in the animation world having recently worked on Disney's Einstein Pals and a pilot for Cartoon Network called Hi-So Hillbilly Alien (with my BFF Bob!).
I am very heavy into sketch comedy/improv and performed all over Northern California, Southern California and New York City. Now that I have 2 children my performing is limited, but I still have the "itch" and will begin performing and taking classes as soon as I can!
Put very simply, VO is the best job in the world! I am grateful for every commercial, game, pilot, DVD, short, guest spot, etc. that I book! I have wanted to do this my whole life. I am very lucky!

I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!

All's great. Your new new baby is just adorable.
Loved meeting your husband, too.
Finishing up a few work things, running to Lanai for a week, seeing the kids, yada yada yada. Life is very good.
Much love to you and yours. xoc
Nice to meet you. What an impressive career you've had so far :) Congratulations on the bundle of joy, by the way.
Best wishes,
Stephanie from Voices.com
Congrats! That's awesome!
I'm still just straight freelance. I spend quite a bit of time at Voicecaster, but this week I'm producing a web game (ick) and a Cancer fund raising video (yay). That and my silly little blog blew up a couple months ago, so I've been trying to keep up with that too.
Done anything fun recently? I'd love to write about it!
