I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Professionally it all started for me in 1991. I got a very lucky break and started presenting on Power FM at the tender age of 16. I knew I had extreme pressure on my shoulders as I had to prove my worth as one of the youngest broadcasters ever. I moved around the country to gain new skills at fantastic radio stations like Horizon Radio, Chiltern, TFM, Galaxy 105 - finally returning ‘down south’ to 95.8 Capital FM in 2003. I was the first dj in over 10 years to be placed straight into the daytime schedule, presenting the prestigious afternoon show.
As Capital was going through some major restructuring in 2005 I found myself taking a contract with Heart 106.2.
This turned out to be the best move I ever made as after a takeover by Global Radio, under the guidance of the ‘world’s best’ programmer - Richard Park, I’m now simulcast across 42 stations on the newly created Heart Network. (Feb 09)
My voice is also used on many TV shows and ad’s. If you watched Britain’s Got Talent in 2008 (14 million people did) you will have heard my tones! I also specialise in voice overs for the live event sector, voicing over 40 ceremonies a year.
I love my gadgets, my Mac’s and my wife and son. Obviously not in that order. I’m a professional who never lets his guard down when it comes to quality. I strive for the best and am only happy when my clients are happy.
In 2009 I have already booked projects with Haymarket Publishing, William Reed Business Media, The Arqiva Awards, mmi broadcasting, Global Radio, Sir Philip Green & The Retail Trust.
I look forward to speaking with you soon and helping you to enhance your next project with my voice over or presenting skills.

Greetings from Bangor, Maine. Thanks for adding me on. You certainly are a talented VO pro. Is the competition tough where you are?

You go register some snappy domain name - Brittania Rules the AirWaves.com, Vox-R-Us.com, Are all voice-overs really ugly.com - and I'll throw in.
Heh heh heh...
Just heard your demo's and thought i'd say hi to a very talented fellow Brit. Do you ever get out to New York? If yes, then give us a shout and we'll have a drink or two.

Yeah sure!
I got a cold (no, not MAN-FLU, just a common cold) 3 weeks ago and now the doc says "oh, it's just a part of the cold and it'll run its course".
"Okay" says I, "how long to run its course?".
"Oh" says she, "about 6 weeks".
"Cheers" says I, to which she countered "but you've already been through three weeks of it".
Yeah, that's a BIG comfort doctor Spock!
Ah well, at least it didn't come from over-use of the old vocal chords - not that it's been quiet, just coasting really.
I mean let's face ti, anyone can have the kind of facilities we have in their home/bedroom these days man!
Otherwise, looking forward to a potential trip back to Blighty in late July and a visit to the capital.
Drinks?
