I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I've been a professional female voice talent and actress living and working in Texas for 25 years. I've been recording and uploading files from my ISDN home studio for the past 5 years. I've voiced literally thousands of radio and television commercials, corporate narrations, tutorials, on hold and voice mail messages. Although I do have an agent in Houston, and work a great deal via the internet, I'd love to connect with more national work via top notch voice over agents in LA, Chicago and NY.
I love working from my home studio, and I have become a little spoiled. I do love to work "in town" at the fine studios in Houston, but I always dread the commute. I've even worked a few last minute jobs via ISDN from my home studio to the local studios here.

It's nice to see you here :-) You are such a talented person. I always enjoy working with you. I hope that sometime we get to finally meet each other! Here's to a successful year!
I think you are sooo kewl!!! lol....I stumbled on your article about editing the breaths with "record." I think I'll try that...didn't think of that b4. Makes sense bc it's like u say - silence may sound unnatural - esp dry. Since then (a few minutes later) I listened to & read more of your spots and tips, etc. It'sall been very helpful - sooo.. thanks!!!! Just hope I can remember what I just learned....inflectionwise and such...next audition. :-)
Best wishes!
~ilene
