VOICE DESCRIPTION
I'm your neighbor, your friend, your mom, your teacher, a counselor, a confidant. Maybe I'm your lover, or the person who keeps you company "on Hold" without driving you crazy. I'm the one who gives you advice you can trust and ideas you can run with. I'm sincere, compelling, convincing, inviting. My voice is mid range, smooth, easy to listen to. One of my classmates described it as "hazelnut-caramel coffee richly swirled with heavy cream."

I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
Best to ya!

Hi Cirina-
I will have Wayne answer more in depth, but the best interface would be the spdif input. The PC would have to be set up to read an external clock, but that is pretty standard.
Thanks for catching this for us.
Best regards,
Marvin
and here is what Wayne LaFarr at Aphex said:
Hello Cirina,
I would have to know exactly what audio card she has to be able to tell you if the 3.5mm jack can accept a digital signal and if it can is its capability SP/DIF or AES. The best way for Martha, to proceed would be to use the SP/DIF input location and then make sure that she has that selected in her audio program for input and also for her to set her word clock setting to external or slave in her audio program.
The 230 needs to have its clock set to master and make sure that the sampling frequency is not higher then the computer can accept o be safe she can start with 44.1kHz.
Cheers,
Wayne LaFarr

Hope this helps, Martha!
All the best to you.

I saw your question on Tech Notes and I think you're trying to use the digital out of the processor into the analog in of the computer. You can either use the analog out of the processor into the analog in of the computer or what would probably be the best way to go is to go get that cable and use the digital out of the processor into the digital in of the computer.
Good Luck!
