I read your status update. I hope you're kidding about leaving VU! I'm a radio vet of 20 years, but a relative newbie to professional voice-acting. I think this is a great online community, full of helpful people. A lot of us are here to learn! I hope you'll stick around and continue to enjoy the 'Universe.'

You are correct we are neighbors!!!!
Before retirement I was the Senior Audio Engineer for FOX5 NYC, for 33 years. I was A1 for many shows produced by NBC-TV, ABC-TV, 4 seasons Live from Lincoln Center, Live from the Met. And I also built a Pro-Tools studio at Channel 5 in 1998.
At that point I was burned out!!!!! I did not want to think AUDIO. But as luck would have it a neighbor of ours wanted to do a radio show, I put together some equipment and I recorded the show, and wow, it turned out great!!!!! I do not know what he has done with the project, but that one project got my juices flowing again. So I built a Pro-Tools studio with ONYX pre-amps, microphones like the Neumann TLM170, AKG414, plus many more large diaphragm microphones.
So if you need a hand with any tracks, my studio can handle it.
e-mail is sound.productions@yahoo.com .
All of the best,
Ward Bennett
Happy Holidays Randy!
