"Bob, Thank you so very much for the Birthday song. I've passed it along to my legal team due to some clearance issues. Apparently "..." it not quite fair use yet ;-) Thanks again!"

Lot's of positive energy headed your way! AND... while in Hartford, if you get a chance to venture into West Hartford, stop at '59'ers on Farmington for the BEST iced coffee east of the Rockies!

I'm a bit conflicted - The Thursday evening before Don went to the hospital, I created a video parody for my personal website, featuring Don and his Limo. I sent him an e-mail asking him to view it as I had "borrowed" his limo for my own. He…"

"Don, Nita and family,

Don was kind enough to respond to my video parody "the limo" just last Thursday (Aug 21) in which he replied for me "to keep it as his gift". Don, the motor's running and I shined it all up for you! Get well soon! - Larry Z."

"Don, I "borrowed" your limo and posted the video on the "video pages". Nice ride, but 'me thinks' it needs an alignment. Pulling to the right a little... I'll have it back to you in a week - promise!"

I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.

I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!

Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!

    Best to ya!

  • Hey Larry...sorry to take so long to replay. As you are aware, not the easiest of times. I saw your video on the limo. Very cool and I'm sure Don loved it. I can understand why you'd feel a little awkward using it on your site at this point. That's a shame, too, because it's a cool piece. Thanks for your thoughts and especially your sensitivity. We will all miss him. I wish you the best..Paul Pape
  • Nah - you keep it, Larry. My gift to you.

  • Let me be among the first to welcome you to the UNIVERSE! It's so great to have you join this amazing group of people.

And speaking of groups, you are invited to join my group, Positive Thinkers UNITE! We can always use one more creative, positive voice among us!

Best of luck for continued success!

  • I was friends with Ken and Roger -- when I lived in L-A during the 90s -- and in fact the last time they were out in public together was on my deck in the Hollywood Hills (along with Peter Tilden, Stu Nahan,Larry Elder, Tracy Miller, Jorge Jarrin Jerry Cutler, Chuck Madden and others) But the next day, Roger learned he was out and Ken Minyard and Peter Tilden were going to partner up and he was out. I did a few voice liners for them. Quite a gang at the height of it.
