I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Kip Wells knew that voiceover work was an avenue worth exploring since he had been receiving positive comments about his voice for a while. "A lot of people told me that I had a great voice and did a good read and suggested I look into voiceover work," he says. The young talent from Titusville, Florida recently completed an acting/voice-over workshop through 57th Street Media Schools of Voiceover, where he worked with vocal coach Keith Alan, who also encouraged him to pursue the profession. "Kip has a distinctive voice that can handle the most subtle to the most sophisticated narration," Alan says. Wells is specifically interested in pursuing voiceover work as a professional announcer, for such projects as commercials, movie previews/trailers, narrations and other TV/radio network promos. His rich, distinctive tone conveys credibility and confidence in the product that he's promoting, a characteristic that vocal coach Alan considers critical to advertisers. "If you're looking to get your message out and connect with an audience, Kip Wells is such a voice that can cut through the clutter and stick to a wall, a rare quality indeed," he says.
