I started in radio in 1969 and have been in the voice over business since the early 80's. I operate fulltime from my home studio in Asheville, NC and spend the bulk of my time voicing for e-Learning projects, radio & TV commercials and producing commercials for radio groups all over the United States.

Thanks for the compliment. I don't know much about the dbx 376. What I can tell you about tube equipment in the price range you're looking at is that the weakest part of those units are the tubes themselves. So if you decide on a DBX, Presonus, ART etc., the way to make them sound better is to replace the stock tube with a better one. There are several discusions about that subject on some of the voice over boards. Also, you might try for a better answer about the DBX from the Gear Heads group. There are some guys that belong to the group that can give you a better idea of how that unit will work for you. By the way, my chain is 100% solid state. I had a Manley Voxbox, but it's for sale at the moment.
