HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE

I started broadcasting as child actor with BBC Northern Ireland. Worked in producing radio programmes with the RAF in England from 17 - 21. Then became continuity presenter with top TV station UTV in Belfast. 1976 head hunted by brand new ( and first) commercial radio station in Ireland. Lucky enough to have presented top line late night show'The Downtown Downbeat Show' Presented on BCR radio and ran the morning show. Started to write for kids and had few things broadcast. Am in process of trying to raise capital to form 'Kidditalk' - the little company with the right idea. We will produce home written stories by Me and also wannabe mum and dad writers. Slogan 'Tales that really Talk'. Throigh a fluke I was asked to perform as Santa and this led onto a frantic 3 week santa run up to Christmas. Magazines, TV etc. Exhibit my 'wares' all the time. Now, at this time, I present an oldies show: 'The Wireless Set' ( 40's 50's Music) Sunday nights 8-10.30. Www.u105.com

Hi John!

To anyone else reading this, John is modest. He has one of the most refined and distinctive voices I've ever heard! Though I do voice work, I've used John's voice in a very difference use for his style. I used him for rock radio stations in the U.S. With sound bytes and the traditional efx, his voice is incredible to give rock radio stations unique branding. It really works well. Actually much better than my typical "rock low growl". Having his vocal style going into Zep, Boston, AC/DC, Police, Scorpions, or the tradition "rock flavor" sounds incredible!
