I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I trained for 4 years at the Juilliard School, Drama Division where I studied voice and speech with Edith Skinner and Elizabeth Smith. I have a highly trained vocal instrument. I've always loved the human voice and from an early age used my voice to create characters, replicate accents and dialects and create sound effects. I'm just starting out in this industry and found out about VU on an actor's website. I'm trying to find out all the information I can about voice work in all areas: voice actor, V.O., audio books, etc..
My singing voice is a high baritone. My speaking voice is neutral, pleasant and well modulated (trained at Juilliard). We were taught Mid-Atlantic speech so I am able to employ that if a role called for it. I was born in Texas and grew up in Missouri so I had a mid-western/southern accent (which I can use if necessary).
