"Glad you liked Andy's work; the kudos go to him. Ps, as far as any trailer requests; I might make them…that don't mean I'm ever gonna get 'em! It's really more of a 'wish list' thing. I rely heavily on Hollywood's "trailer fairies" for gigs "
"geez Jimmy, i'm kinda taken aback by your post. it feels weird in a way, that after being in this for several years now, folks (like yourself) get inspired by me...just being me. i'm honored by your words, and look forward to keeping in touch via VU…"
John,
Thanks for the add. You really impressed me on the diversity panel at VOICE 2010. I kept wondering if you were ever going to say anything, but then Boom! You took over the panel! I'e never been one to puch through a crowd at such events so I hope someday our paths will cross and we can share a cup of coffee and some conversation.
And your website is awesome! Rich.
"My guy" seems to be commercials & documentary / industrial narration and I'm just tryin' to get myself in front of people doing the hiring, so that particular story of how you actively market yourself to your agents & 'trailer fairies' gives guys like me a 'boost' knowing we all gotta brand ourselves and be marketing ourselves constantly.
Thanks for your perspective in the Andy Boyns interview. "You Gotta Find Your Guy." Brilliant. Your insight to marketing potential films you'd like to voice to your agents is also great advice!
