I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I started in radio and moved into voice overs while gradually phasing out my on air gig. My first big break was after moving to Los Angeles in the early 80's and voicing the trailers for early teen movies such as Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Porkys and others. The huge break happened 20 years ago this August when a little upstart network called, Fox hired me as their promo voice. Since then, I've primarily worked in promo for Fox, CBS, NBC and ABC. I voice syndication packages for network shows going into reruns and first run syndication as well. I'm proud to be a part of some pretty cool Live TV events like the Emmys and Grammys and I work as an in-show announcer for programs like Deal or No Deal, Extreme Makeover Home Edition and so on. I also am the image voice for local radio and TV stations around the country. All of that takes up about an hour a day. So, pretty much I'm bored the rest of the day and that's why Rick said why don't you start "Ask Joe."

Ladie Mo$t...
Thanks for the nice words! I love doing what we do. Aren't we the luckiest people in the world?
Also, love seeing the photos you have of Don and Nita and the VOICE weekend. I am so sorry I missed it. He looks great in the pictures!
Hope all is well with you and thanks for reaching out...if it wasn't for Don I wouldn't be on voiceover universe!
Best,
Lynnanne
LOL...thanks TC
(Uh, any chance of gettin' a batch of that sauce? It's for my, um, my uncle, yeah... :)
Been a fan of your work for years and didn't even know it...but isn't that how it goes in this business. Here's hoping your star shines bright for a very long time!
Talk Soon,
mike
Praying for Don's full recovery soon!
Thanks for adding me as your friend. Wouldn't it be funny if that's the way it was in real life....you walk up to people at the supermarket and say, "I'd like to add you as my friend. Click here." Maybe not.
Love your Ask Joe Cinemaplex. You should have different theaters with Now Showing marquees.
Here's a character I've developed that has been picked up by TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network): http://www.BonoDuck.com
Glad to see you haven't lost your sense of humorosity.
