  Read your book "Secrets of Voice Over Success" - truly inspirational and wonderful insights into the VO world. I took workshops a few years ago but had to stop due to family and commuting (I'm 2 hrs. out of NYC); however I'm considering volunteering to read to the blind through a radio station not far from where I live.

  Joan,
  I don't have to tell you that you sound amazing, but may I? Ha!
  Joe Cipriano sent me a copy of your book "Secrets of Voice Over Success" and it is wonderful! Joan, only been in v/o a relatively short time (7 years) but booked my biggest job ever recently! I was selected as the announcer for the "Larry The Cable Guys Christmas Extravaganza" that will air on cable in November. You're probably asked this constantly, but may I send you a couple of v/o samples? Be glad to pay for a critique and would LOVE to be coached by you! I'm still mourning the loss of Don and I'm sure you are too. He was so kind and always willing to help. Thanks Joan and have a wonderful weekend!

  Joan- I just saw your video clip re: Daughters of Men and I'm sitting here crying like a 6 year old over how you expressed your feelings... so purely and perfectly. They also happen to echo my experience with my father. I don't want to expound here, but I recently sent an email to Nita about a dream I had about Don & my father. It was kind of freaky and wonderful at the same time, but the "father" subject seems to be coming up a lot lately, so I just want to acknowledge how impactful your words and delivery of those words were for this Daghter of a man.... a "real" man, as most people would describe my papa.

  If it were ever possible, I'd love to have you as a guest speaker at one of my classes in Cleveland or Pittsburgh. This market is so hungry for this training and I am one of the lucky stiffettes that gets to bring it here.
