I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
As a vocal artist, he has developed not only a strong and confident delivery through the years but proper breathing control and inflection bringing the words on the page to life.
After performing VO work in school plays and receiving many requests to leave voice messages on answering machines it was time to see if he could make a living at this. He found Larry Russo a local talent/voice coach and producer to begin studying the voice-over industry.
Larry, discovered Jim had a very marketable gift and that years of singing would really give him that edge in the VO industry. He not only taught him the "the process" for voice acting but that reading and studying poetry would be a great tool for interpretation.
More importantly, Jim has been instructed by Larry in the studio to think of "the play is the thing. It takes that playful approach to make it come out smooth."
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
Less than 1 Year experience
Jim, began his full time voice over career in the summer of 2009 but has built an incredible foundation to prepare himself for the voice industry which began back in his early teens as a musician and vocal artist.

VOICE DESCRIPTION
Real, Smooth, Versatile, Slight Gravel in my finish
Very versatile. I can "punch it" when I need to and lay it back as well. I can give a soft delivery without losing any power or creditability to my voice. I am well rounded and can cover a lot of ground and many different types of gigs.
DIALECTS, Character voices and vocal impressions
I've been told I do a pretty good "Elmo." Otherwise, I tend to do a lot of made-up character voices with my kids stuffed animals.
