"Hi David,

At least get Source-connect...that way, you'll be able to do live sessions with other S-C studios...AND you can do an ISDN "bridge" (WITH an ISDN studio) if another studio wants to hire you.

Good luck!

But, I am surprised at how many (L.A. especially) producers still wanna "press the flesh" and see my face in person...which leads to the only other down-side, which is not insignificant, and that's the big city face-to-face…"

Sounds great! Hope you're having a really nice visit with your mom.

    Talk to you soon!

  • Welcome to the party! I'm on the road in New York at my mom's - busy busy - I'll find time to get back here an participate when I finally get back home. My laptop studio saves the day again - set up in my mom's basement with a small mattress and a bookcase - works pretty well!
  • Hello Jeff,

I hope your session today went well. I really enjoyed listening to your commercial demo, you have a great voice. Thanks for coming on board.
  • Hey Penny!

It's a picture of "Bob Boof", a flawed, slightly jaded - yet still quite LOVABLE - burned-out, former network news anchor...who's been relegated back to "The minor's" - small market news stations (The retail equivalent of "The MALL curcuit) Bob's an old alter ego of mine.
He tells the news like it is...real, raw, real raw, sober (Which is why he carries a flask full of Old #7 at all times), and real. He hails from the days long before bleach blond bimbos started spoon-feeding the news to a "Branjolina" palleted public (Wow, was that deep?) - and ofcourse, he has no shortage of editorializing and commenting on EVERY story.
Kinda' like Walter Chronkite meets Lou Dobbs...on CRACK!
Anywho, if I can find some old tapes of him, maybe I'll post one or two. I'm not so sure any of them survived my last move - but, I'll check.
Glad you like Seth - he'll be 3 on August 8th and he's just the BEST thing that's ever happened to me and my loving wife, Jenn!
BTW, I joined the "Positive thinkers unite" group yesterday - looking forward to checking it out when I have some spare time!
Have a great, productive day, Penny...and we'll talk to you soon.

    Take care.

  • What a hilarious picture! I LOVE it! What is this character's name?

Also really like the pictures of your little ones.
