I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Jason Clark got his start in voice over by writing, voicing, and
producing commercials for a radio station in South Carolina. He
turned some heads when his very first commercial was named that year's
"Best Commercial, Promo or PSA" by the South Carolina Broadcasters
Association. It was a pretty good start, particularly for a 16 year
old! He went on to provide voice over for dozens of commercials over
the next few years, but then set out to see what else life had to
offer. After becoming a flight instructor, studying engineering in
college, and spending a decade developing software for the 'world's
largest software company', Jason decided to complete the circle and
once again focus on his first love, voice over.
He studied with James Alburger, and then modernized and sharpened his
talent through extensive private study in Los Angeles with renowned
voice over coach Nancy Wolfson.
Out of respect for the constant evolution of advertising, he continues
to train with leading voice over coaches and to study the work of
other top voice talent.
Jason's voice over style is best described as reassuring, playful,
vulnerable, honest and definitely REAL. A voice your audience can
relate to!
