If you've been asked in good faith to do work and you performed that work and you've agreed a price, etc, etc and you deliver the work as agreed, then you are entitled to your compensation. Every client I ever worked with has promised me…"

"Hey Bob,

I'd say that you're already marketing yourself even if you don't know you're doing it. The fact that "video jobs fall out of thin air" and that "clients I already work for talk to friends and they contact me with work" means that your…"

I think it's fabulous to have those adjectives associated with your voice. Quality always sells. A luxurious and distinct voice will make any product sound great. This is not a time to re-invent yourself unless you feel some real inside…"

"No, I'm not. Joe specifically asked "Where can one find a list of casting directors?". That's the question that is now missing. To this question, I replied with "Buy the Ross Reports..." comment.

  • OH!! - and I believe we've met IN PERSON a few times as well - I THINK I did a partner read w/you - OR maybe at Marla's?
  • Hi - No as I wrote I DON'T wantmto replace the THAT-1 - But I need a phone - Hmmm - I should check and see if anyone answered - Nice to e-meet you however!
  • James! Thanks so much - (I've had five (5!) houseguests for the last few days so I'm behind on my correspondence) - Love your sound here....smooth, inviting. Stay in touch, eh?

  • Hey James - Good to meet you. Yes, it's entirely possible we've seen each other at auditions. Next time, smack me on the back of the head :) And yes, I'm still podcasting - mostly personal essays as the mood strikes me. It's a good work-out.

    All the best -

    Chris.
  • Hi James! Hahahaha!

So, yes, I smoked the whole damn thing. But no, I didn't inhale. And that said, I think Greycliff Emerald's from Nassau are my favorite. Smooth, tasty, utterly luxurious....Can't remember what I was smoking there, maybe an Opus X or something smuggled in from Cuba.

And no, I haven't changed my name....It's always just Maxine Dunn.

Lucky you to do Rosetta Stone. I was in close touch with them for a while and ALMOST made it as one of their voices. I'm a northerner however and have not yet perfected RP so didn't make the cut. Lovely, lovely people though and what a great company to work with.

Hope things are going wonderfully well for you.

  • Hello back to you James...love the young and pure Corporate reel. Must admit I haven't put up the demo yet...new to the biz, and reading all the 'rules' has stifled me a bit, moving on nevertheless.
    thanks for the welcome,
