sorry to take so long in replying I forget to look at my home page!!
I really haven't done too much VO work yet.My day job is Music Therapist in private practice and I'm happy I have been working a lot!! .I did recently learn, to my delight, that I was second in Scott Brick's audiobook contest so am pursuing some work in that area--getting an audiobk demo done etc.. Then plan on blitzing the companies that judged the contest.I have made the decision to try to do VO work locally to get my feet wet, and then maybe branch out. I have also got some good leads from a Southfield business expo and have joined the Chamber of commerce .I'm going to do some telephone work for a relatively new recording studio in Livonia, ALP Music LLC and also web video for a new start up finacial company and maybe for a web hosting company.
Are you looking for local or national work? What work do you prefer?
Maybe yu and I could link web pages and share leads?Anytime I hear of someone needing a male voice I will refer you and hopefully you would do vice versa??? Let me know your thoughts. Do you have an agent? Take care. All the best Jenny
Thanks for the invite to become a friend. Nice to see other Michigander/ganians here. Did you coach with Tom Force? Do you wrk fulltime as a VO? Maybe I'll see you at a workshop or two around.I'm going to Voice 2010- so maybe there too? Cheers! Jenny Dixon
I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
