I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Creative Director
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Frank James Bailey worked in radio for over 20 years. Working in markets all over Ohio. Frank is also a screenwriter (nothing sold yet) and Frank has done some acting too. Frank James Bailey has preformed in a few plays (waiter in Death Of A Salesmen. Frank was also the "voice" in Willie Lomans head too) and Frank was an extra in a mob movie shot in Youngstown, OH in 1999. The movie was Turn Of Faith.
I've played lots of characters on the radio. From a Leprechaun to Santa, from Elmo to an old man. I even did a localized spot for Dominions pizza as an Italian guy for Brooklyn Style Pizza.
I've just recently got more into voice overs, voice acting, and radio imaging. I've been told that my radio imaging production sounds great but I know their is a lot more to voice acting then radio imaging and radio spots. My dream is be do a voice in a cartoon.

VOICE DESCRIPTION
The voice of Frank James Bailey is very versatile. Frank's normal speaking voice is average to slight baritone. Frank can be relaxed, sincere, convincing and friendly and also I can do that big deep voice that is needed for classic rock radio imaging, TV promos and movie trailers. From a powerful and strong voice to the average Joe. Frank James Bailey is a voice actor!

Ironically I couldn't get the produced audio from the client so Jake at Edge Studios helped me out with editing and music beds.
Thanks for the invite. I was in radio for 10 years, the last three were on a Morning Show. I've been out for 2 and doing this full time. I love it!
I just listened to your character voices. Funny stuff! Keep up the good work!

I was most recently in Toledo. Downsized by Cume-less. I was Creative Director for the cluster and PD for talk WTOD.
Just moved to Sandusky Oct 15th. My wife got a federal gig with the Ohio Veteran's Home. Trying to get part-time in Cleveland with CBS or CC... and looks like I'll be getting part-time with Elyria-Lorain Broadcasting (WKFM/WLKR) who I worked 1996-97.
I did production at both stations and was on air at WMJI. Never on air at WMMS save for spots.
Have you checked out John Gorman's WMMS blog? Great site!
