I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)

Voice Actor

HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE

I've been acting and singing since I was a little girl. I went to the University of Florida to become a news reporter and anchor for radio and television. After years of studying and working as a journalist, I realized that it wasn't my passion; I wanted to start acting again. Broadcasting became a great stepping stone for acting in front of the camera and on the microphone. I have voiced various voicemail greetings, internet audio, business presentations, commericals and PSAs. I'm looking to get more involved in animation. I'm also a certified teacher. I currently tutor English and Math subjects to students ranging from Middle School all the way up through Graduate School. I would love to do educational voiceovers combining my love for education and voiceacting.

  • Happy Summer Renee,
Sounds like you've got a great start at stretching your voice even further.
Welcome to VU even though you've been here awhile. You're in good company here!

I wish you the best of success in all your adventures! I'd love you to join my group Ask a Casting Director. There's a lot of useful info that might help you there.

I'm a Casting Director and experienced actor (4 octave range) for Video Games and more. It's a unique genre, unlike any other that requires a lot of differentiation in voices because there are so many parts with so few lines each. It requires a huge vocal repertoire. If you feel you're experienced as a voice actor with a lot of diverse and useable characters, and you can hit the ground running, you can go to my Talent Assessment page. Classes and coaching links are also there, if you'd like more instant help to get where you need to be to land those jobs.

    Stay Super!
