HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE

I hosted, produced, directed, and wrote for my own broadcast TV shows on major networks, also on cable, and for programs that producers hired me to do for over 26 years. I've done VO work for TV spots for local and national companies that aired on cable and broadcast TV networks. Other voice acting jobs were for producers, PSA's, special projects in many other areas & radio interviews. My passion is researching wellness, health, and fashion.

Since I've worked as a TV producer, host, director, & writer, as well as VO and voice acting, I find that these skills will enhance my own unique approach to wellness, which I believe is my calling. I've been a Voice Talent at Voices.com since October 2008 – Present.

Volunteer Experience: TV host, producer, and writer for PSA The American Lupus Society, San Diego County Chapter August 1989 – present. This is a letter that I received from Anita Jones, August 17, 1989: "Please know that your wonderful TV Lupus PSA has brought and is bringing such a tremendous response from new patients that we office volunteers are very busy keeping up. We are most grateful for your efforts on behalf of the Society. You are reaching many who might otherwise stay undiagnosed and untreated. Thank you." They also sent another letter.

Voice Over for PSA: Peace, a Non-profit Medical Organization, 2007 – present. Peace provides medical procedures for children from around the world. They offer health programs to change the unfortunate circumstances of children by bringing them to the US for life changing procedures that allow them to live normal healthy lives.

Honors and Awards: The former chairman of Fox Broadcasting & VP of XETV during the 80's nominated my TV show "Let's All Dine Out San Diego" TV for an EMMY award. I produced & hosted this TV series which aired for 17 years on broadcast & local cable TV. 

I appeared on the front page of the Economy section in the San Diego Union Newspaper with a large color picture, & another color photo in the Blade Citizen, on the front page of The Social Scene, including articles about me. San Diego Magazine also wrote an article featuring my video menu productions.

The American Lupus Society gave me an award for the PSA that I produced for them. I spoke on camera for this 60 second PSA that aired on all the local broadcast TV stations, often on prime time. My friend worked at one TV station as public affairs director so he put my Lupus PSA on Prime Time.

Of all my achievements, the letters from The American Lupus Society thanking me for my contribution, had the most impact on me. soothing, classy, sultry, smooth, warm, friendly, captivating, genuine, expressive, attractive, sincere, confident, uplifting, professional, authoritative, natural, believable, convincing, & comforting. I wasn't going to write this in my profile, BUT most people describe my voice as  sexy or seductive. People tell me that when they hear me talking on the PHONE (friends, family or business people, No 900 calls, haha). My demo doesn't really sound like I have a sexy voice. I have plans to produce a better, generic demo soon.
