    As was been written by another voiceactor on VU: Right now Don is saying to God "You call that a voice?"

    I just wanted to express my gratitude for accepting my friend request for about a month ago. I wanted to write to you and tell you what an inspiration you are, but somehow I just didnt... thinking you got so many of those each and every day anyway! Well - I'm sure they have internet up there so here you are Don, thanks for being such an amazing talent and inspiration to so many of us!

    Mona gave me the news as I woke this morning. Needless to say I was immediately saddened. Now, a few hours later, I find solace in knowing that one day a better place awaits.

    Don,
    It was only a month ago you accepted my friend request.
    I was surprised and very grateful.
    Thats what sets voice actors apart from actors.
    We encourage, we play the game not the man.
    And you were the top man.
    You still had time to give back to the voice artists and I respect that.
    Respect to you Don, you will be missed seems such an understatement...your voice will live on...your family will take comfort from the fact you lived the dream!

    If you read my quote from Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on my page, it speaks volumes to how I believe Don lived his life. In his humbleness and humility, transversing this crazy ego driven world of VO, he was the best at what he did and coincidently affected us all. Inspired us all to read the copy a little better, work on our craft a little more and be a little more servile to this Industry and give its just do to the world and move messages as only our GOD given talents can do.

    Best wishes and thoughts to Don's family..Don has created a standard that all of us in The entire Voiceover Universe continually struggle to even come close to. I am very sad to see our industry idol pass.
