The client asked me to narrate this project for 2010...they loved the way 2009's narration turned out.

  • Thanks Ladie. Good to be here.
  • Ladie,
Oct. 4 I'll be in NY for an AFTRA meeting, and I'll ask around. There are Board Members from Miami.

  • Ladie,
Thanks for the kind words. Your stuff has so much life and fun to it. There are good agents there in Miami. Do you know some?
    B.
  • Thanks LM... Appreciate your welcome. I'm still figuring my way around this site. Look forward to seeing how this world spins. Cheers
  • Ladie,
I LOVE your first demo - so much life, humor, character & energy. Obviously you do this for a living, and you do it with such class & sass.

On your first DEMO I wouldn't mix Spanish in with the English on the same demo track. Keep them as separate tracks. My friends in L.A. - George del Hoyo and Sylvia Villagran - who both do tons of national stuff, both in English & Spanish, have separate demos for English and for Spanish; they put all their demos on the same CD and on their websites, but the English & Spanish tracks (demos) are separate.

And your first Demo with both the Sp & Eng is as a result a little long. You want about :50 - :60 per track, max.

I listened to the "Vive" tracks, and there are dead-spaces in the audio up front. (I'm guessing that's how they were used on the air.) Edit the segments together to :50 - :60 max.

The Coke rap is delicious and deserves its own track labeled: "Hip-Hop singing demo: Coca Cola."

I'd lose the dialogue demos (you've got two here and they seem to be duplicates.)
Your first DEMO is so much better.

I'd set it up like this:
    1) Commercials (English)
    2) Commercials (Spanish)
    3) Radio Imaging (Spanish)
    4) Hip-Hop singing demo: Coca Cola.

I might have missed something. Where are you based? It sounds like you're already working. Great stuff, and thanks for asking; I take it as a compliment.

P.S. I tried to go to your website, and got your page, but wasn't able to click on anything.
  • Thanks a bunch. Looking forward to making a lot of new friends and connections here in the VO universe.
  • Thank you Ladie Mo$t!!
I'm very glad to be here!
    How are you doing?
  • Thank$!
  • Thank you for the welcome
I'm new to the business and looking forward to my new adventure.
Although I have worked as a auctioneer for many years and have worked in front of over 1000 people at one time I still find this a little intimidating but I'm very optimistic.
I'm always looking for any tips or advice and with any luck maybe You will be able to recognize my voice some day !
    Thanks again for the welcome!
    Eric
