I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor, Copy Writer, Studio Engineer, Voiceover Coach, Vocal Coach
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Straight out of the Boogie Down Bronx, NY, nomadically relocated to become Floridian/ATLien... I've been flexin' my Voice muscles since the early 90's doing Radio and fell in Love! As a Voice-Actor, I've had the opportunity to do countless Radio and TV commercials-promos-liners etc.. However, during my voice-over journey my voice is now heard in many places [ok I'm being a little modest] My voice is heard Worldwide in places like: Aruba, Nicaragua, UK, Scotland, Brussels, Belgium, Paris, Switzerland, Netherlands-Amsterdam, Canada, and of course the U.S.!!! Some of my most recent work include: National and International--TV Promos [English & Spanish] , TV & Radio commercials, IVR's [English & Spanish], Radio Imaging, Character reads & voices, Animations, Narration, Audio book reads. I am a Pioneer in South Florida Radio...Thank GOD for 100,000 Watts of Sound!!! I've had the most wonderful opportunity to train one on one with The Great & Legendary "Don Morrow", a true VO-Pioneer, at his first Trailer & Promo workshop ever at Nakamoto Studios in Sacramento,CA. I had fabulous experience training with Marla Kirban, where I learned the importance of being full of yourself and just being Denise Nelson... My greatest Blessings from GOD are my two Beautiful Children! Denise Nelson...

I just decided (last month i think) to NoT resign with V123.
It was time to renew my subscription ... & in a yrs time
i had not gotten even 1 payin gig ...after submitting lots of
auditions. I started thinking it must be a rip-off .
But, i thought you must be using them when i tuned into
your VU-TV broadcast ... ( or something like them)... that
all looked very familiar !
I' m glad you' re getting some good outta them !
: )
How did you find out about the job ? ... is that an appropriate
question on here ? ... if not ... say code word "nunya" !
I am just trying to decide whether to get an agent or not.
I had signed up with a few voice sites... payed alot of money to
be a "gold-member" or whatever...sent auditions but got no return
on my investments. Do you use an agent ? ... again if not
fitting ... reply "nunya" ...
(that's what my teenagers used to tell me... of course my reply was
"oh yea it is !") ... but i couldn't reply that to you !
Just searching for any tips that anyone is willing to share !
Thankx !
