"Tom-
Been doing the Acoustiguide work for a few years now. The best was being the voice of The Statue of Liberty! Check out my new audio demos (and an Audio Tour Demo in particular), to hear what I've been up to.

How about you?

"Hey Dan-

Nice to meet you. I would be happy to join your group, and my first question would be: How do I manage all the groups that I am a member of?
I get emails from over 1/2 dozen each day! It's hard to keep up!!

BTW, how did you find me in the…"

  • Hi! Thanks for the comment. Didn't realize Rod was going to feature it! :D Actually, how I came to be in a management/talent relationship was by accident. I did a fun little YouTube video doing the voices of my favorite movie trailer voiceover artists like Don, Hal, etc and my manager (who runs a trailer/promo company in LA) saw it and asked me if I would allow him to be my manager. He solely gets me work in movie trailers and promos though, the rest of the work I get through auditioning hard and often and making a great impression on clients to turn them into REPEAT clients.
  • OK Debbie,

Melli flu what (lol) I am glad you are not writing my copy, I would really have more issues than Kiss FM in my script.

You have a great voice and would do well with Imaging, thanks for the comments on the blog!
  • Took a look at your site. Very sleek, concise, uncluttered and impressive! Congrats on the new web-page and all your success!
  • Tell me more, Herb. I've started using Yoono.com to post simultaneously at my various hub spots, but I don't know about ping.fm....
  • Hey, Debbie...
Thank you for making sure we stay connected! That new website is clean, lean and very easy on the ears. Crystal clear production plus Debbie Irwin = a great VO product.I don't know if you do it or not, but I use the ping.fm app to link the networks so I know that everyone is hearing my cacaphonies at once...
  • Ok, so here's an embarrassing dilemma.... I've just launched my new website, www.DebbieIrwin.com, and I'm so proud of it and my new demos (18!), that I want to tell the world. The only problem is, I have my finger in so many different worlds, that I can't remember who I've told and who I haven't!
So.... if I am bring redundant, apologies!

(eg. I have posted the info on the VU Demo Critique page, but that's not the same as on my own VU page, I guess...?!)
Suggestions on any topic are welcomed!
  • Hey Debbie,

    Thank for the add! :-)

The audio player you're talking about is something that is created when you upload your MP3 files same as you have on the left side of your profile page.
I added images to each file and filled out the fields in the upload section when prompted.
Mine looks different because I've moved it to that spot on my page; near the top center.
If I recall correctly, it's as easy as drag and drop to any location on your profile page.
Since you have a personal website you can grab the .html code provided by VU.com for the player and add it on your own website too.
I have the player on my website, myspace, facebook and some other networking places; any social site who will allow me to post the code is were I add it.

    I hope this helps,

I'd love to know what you think. Got your resume-- sweet! My only question/suggestion might be to send it as a pdf to make sure that it looks the same no matter which computer opens the document.

    Best,

    Debbie

Thanks for the add. Nice change up of characters in your thriller- dialogue demo. Your narrations are very nice too. Keep up the good work!
