Best Regards,
I too learned a lot from John, and consider him a friend as well as mentor. As for my background, I was born in Rio and lived in Uruguay, El Salvador, Guyana and Costa Rica (my favorite!), as well as traveling to almost every other Latin American country (Dad worked at the US Embassy). I get up to DC fairly often (I used to live in Wheaton), so next time I'm up there maybe we can get together for lunch and compare notes.
Thanks for accepting my friend invite. I studied with John Burr, too-isn't he great????
I am based not far from you in MD and am also bilingual. I grew up in Mexico, Colombia, and studied in Spain. How about you? Muchísimo gusto! Jane Ingalls
Unfortunately I'll only be visiting Dallas for the weekend of Bill Holmes' workshop in February (much as I wouldn't mind getting away from the freezing cold here in Richmond! If you ever get out this way for any training, be sure to let me know. Take care,
Dale Leopold
