I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
You don't consider radio experience, but through working at the local station as a host I had the opportunity to record several PSAs. I landed on IMDB from my role dubbing a puppet in Eco Beeps with Skip & Molly which won an award at the Kids First Film Festival. I'm still considering myself a newbie, but have a demo, a home studio, and am actively looking for work.
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
I will be doing voices for a fall project for Magic Drawer Workshop, the producer of Eco Beeps.
LANGUAGES
English is my native tongue, with many years of French in school.
VOICE DESCRIPTION
I have a fun and playful voice for commercial work, a young sound for those needing children without the hastle, as well as a clean professional sound for narratives.
DIALECTS, Character voices and vocal impressions
I have performed using French, Irish, Cockney, and Brittish accents. Dialects and accents come easy to me if I have a sample to listen to which, with the Internet, is very simple. My voice, in a general sense, is already a character voice but is also a very natural every day voice.
VOICES I AM ABLE TO PERFORM
Middle Age Female, Young Adult Female, Teenage Girl, Child Male, Child Female, Baby
Union Affiliation
Non-affiliated

Hi Cat.. Glad you found my blog. Hope you read my article on Six Requests of My Clients, etc. It highlights some of the challenges we face in our working relationships.
Best advice I could give is to learn fro the greats. There's lots of info about vo careers online just be careful who you learn from. I recommend these names to look for... true working pros who also teach regularly. Find there websites and other info. Pat Fraley, Marc Cashman, Susan Berkely, James Alburger & Penny Abshire. (James has recently updated the most comprehensive VO biz book out there, The Art of Voice Acting... read it! Also Terry Daniel, Dan Lenard and Dan Friedman for technical stuff, Harlan Hogan and a few others. You can trust these people.
Attend some workshops, webinars, telephone conferences and above all... make it fun and don't expect to make much money from it for a couple of years.
