I love your site! I am based in Beijing and it is pretty cool to see someone going full tilt in Asia - gives me some inspiration.

As for you being an asset to China while in Asia - you're likely more familiar with the culture (I don't know if you're a native) and while everything is online, I think (even in the US) that more local (espec given the time zone change) can be more efficient/feasible/workable. Just a hunch. Use whatever contacts you may have there as well!
It sounds like you're doing everything you need to do; the only think I can suggest is to approach companies in the US that have offices overseas and let them know you're out there - ditto with ad agencies and post-production houses. I think China will be a great place to be in the coming years since the economy is booming. If I think of/hear of any particulars about other ways to approach overseas clients, I'll pass them along; I'm of the same mindset. I have one tiny client in Israel, and another small one in the Netherlands but it's mostly little stuff, and IVR. You might check out WIDEVOX and see if they need a new male voice,,,?
Do you find the "business/industry" to operate differently in Asia vis a vis casting, production, etc
It;s a small world now!
All the best.
