Bettye Zoller left a comment on Audiobooks & Narration: Paying Jobs!
"Sometimes it's ok to hire someone to edit your book reads. It speeds things up as you can be narrating more books and paying someone to clean up files same time. Track expenditures and measure if this is paying off. For me, it often does."

  • Hi Bettye, I was going through the forums list and saw an interesting one that you put up "What do you do every week to advertise your vo services? Started by Bettye Zoller in Oct 2" when I went to it, it was deleted. I'm really interested in this topic. I want to see what you and or other talents are doing so I can be doing more. I'd also love to be on your voice over universe friends list! Sincerely, Diane Merritt

  • Thank you for your comments dear Bettye. Looking forward to visiting with you when you're back in Nashville!
  • Bettye, do you plan on doing an additional Voice Acting Workshops possibly in December? I will be in there for three or so weeks and I am very interested in your workshop!
  • You are such a sweetheart for helping out with the show "Old School". Thanks again for the great interview!!

  • Bettye, I'm interested in your workshop. I live in Waxahachie, TX and could drive up... I'm wondering about cost. Thanks again!

  • Hi Bettye. Having a great time reading your posts. I'll have to look into studying with you in the near future. On a side note..I'm a jazz bassist as well! Is there something wrong with someone that insists on playing an instrument that's almost bigger than they are? :)
  • My email is btzol@aol.com
  • Jeff...oh yes, I was with Dawson too and Sylvia for years. I'm now with the Tomas Agency here. The new owner is fab and acts as my agent and puts voiceovers first! I too have agents in about five other cities. Do let me know if somehow I can do a voiceover seminar in KC. I adore the city, want to see friends, visit the house I grew up in again, oh so much. If someone is interested in my teaching a vo workshop, contact me and we'll work out the details. With schools starting soon, the theatre divisions of colleges would be a good start. I do lots of guest professorships at colleges nationwide. I just love doing that.
  • Hello everybody on this page and on this site too. Hey Maxine...I'm in Denver presenting a workshop open to city enrollment on the afternoon of August 3. The Business of VO and Audiobook Narration Techniques. The topics were chosen by the actors who invited me to present the workshop while in town as a presenter at the natl. conference of ATHE (Assoc. Theatre in Higher Ed). I'm really looking forward to it. Hope you'll help get the word out. I send you luv back!! And Craig, yes, I was born in Kansas City and didn't leave until age 32 and it's "home" and always will be in my heart. I also have relatives in Independence MO, home of Harry S. Truman. We used to see him on the streets downtown doing banking and errands when I was a little girl and he always tipped his hat and bowed and stopped and talked to my mother and grandmother. And to Lynn whose comment's below...thanks for the note and all the best. Bettye Zoller www.voicesvoices.com
