I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I am just breaking into voice over work. I have been acting for more than 20 years now and finding out that while voice over acting can be difficult at times. It can also be allot of fun. I enjoy the challenge of making a voice come alive without the physical embodiment to go along with it, even though I still throw myself into the role just as if I were on stage.
Working with puppets is what got me initially interested in voice over. I also worked on a few college projects for friends who needed audio work done as well. Recently I have been cast in several on line radio dramas the characters ranging anywhere between children to a 93 year old British woman.
I have done a wide range of voices for not only theatre and puppetry but also for this sort of work. I really enjoy character roles where I can go all out. Drama, comedy, it is all fun and wonderful. I hope to do a lot more in the near future.

VOICE DESCRIPTION
Dark Places Firefly based radio drama by Jill Arroway Release date sometime in 2010 Captain Haley.
My voice is a lively yet neutral one with no real hint of an accent. It allows me to talk believably in various accents and vocal ranges including those suitable for cartoons, radio, audio art, narration and other various vocal uses.
My work in children’s theatre and puppetry have inspired a wide range of abilities with making believable villains, heroes etc without making them so scary the kids run away. But along with my other theatre work and assistant teaching it has allowed me to come up with frightening voices which have been used in several haunted houses and other fun areas of theatre.
Serious acting such as Shakespeare, Greek drama and comedy are not foreign to me and I have drawn upon classical training as well to create my various characters.

Hope you acomplish your goals. This is a crazy business. I wish you well. I have nothing to sell, though I suspect you'll get a lot of "try my coaching biz". Ignore them. Be yourself, and act naturally, even if the product you are flaunting is BS.
It's an unfortunate problem in the marketing biz.
Best regards,
Barry
