I WORK IN THE VOICE OVER INDUSTRY AS A(N)
Voice Actor
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I've been behind a microphone professionally since age fifteen. Many years at top stations on the west coast....full time voice over since the early eighties. I was one of the first guys to record at home.....a pioneer of much of the technology commonly used by talent today. I had the first VO website with streaming audio. I was the voice of Superman, and Reed Richards/Fantastic Four. I voiced the trailer for INTO THE WILD for Sean Penn. I've done promos for all the networks. I work primarily from my own studio on a mountaintop ranch in Ojai, CA, and from the pied a terre in Toluca Lake. I participate in native american cultural events around the country, and have two siberian huskies. I have one brown eye, and one green eye.

I love your work...especially Reed Richards character.....How long have you been doing animation?
Ok, this was the running commentary going through my head as I listened to your voice on your demos...
Damn!
Oh my god.
That's beautiful.
Ok, wait, I need to hear that one again.
Who IS this guy? Why haven't I heard of him before?
Is his hair as long as mine? I can't really tell from his picture.
Ooohhh...that one was VERY nice.
There's nothing sexier than someone who's really, really, good at what they do...
Is that my stomach growling? I'm hungry....need to order a pizza...

Marice Tobias and I were recently watching my copy of the KFRC reunion where you subtly (not!) played your VO demo on the air and gave your agent's name and phone number - HA - that's gorilla markeing Bro! AND, the entire demo was parody spots. We laughed and she told me how you guys met and worked together long ago. btw, who was that blonde, short-haired, fair skin little boy on the air back then?? You sounded awesome then, you sound awesome today. How would you feel if a piece of that video wound up on YouTube - or this site?? Re: KFRC, Dr. Don Rose was a mentor of mine and I had some wonderful correspondence with him shortly before he died. How BLESSED you are to have worked with him. In fact, you were among GIANTS at that station. I still engineer for Mark McKay at our studio sometimes. What a massive conglomerate of talent that was. I've followed your career over the years and have great respect for your talent. My VO work has taken off and I'm a new aquisition of TGMD. I feel like I've been called up from the minor league farm to the majors and am enjoying the journey more than I can say. Take care, and I wish the best.
